Domain change - moving complete website to Posterous

To unify the look, feel, and use of my website I plan to move all parts of it to Posterous around December 04-05, 2010. Currently some parts of my site reside with a web hoster while the blog is on Posterous. With the advent of sub-pages I see no reason to keep my site split between my hoster and Posterous anymore as described in this blog post: Integration of Posterous with web presence.

As Posterous only supports one custom domain and not one main domain and multiple sub-domains pointing to different pages of a site, the address of the blog, and of the blog’s RSS feed, will change. The blog will become the home or landing page of my site instead of residing on the “blog” subdomain. The “blog” subdomain will cease to exist. Please update your bookmarks to point to www.bjoernknafla.com.

The RSS feed is handled by Feedburner and it seems as if I can jus tell them to find the feed data at another address while keeping the Feedburner RSS feed address constant. This means that for most subscribers there shouldn’t be any necessity for change.
